Indiana District At the LCMS Youth Gathering

at the LCMS Youth Gathering

The Indiana District Youth Gathering is an annual high school youth gathering, sponsored by the Indiana District of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. It's purpose is to provide an opportunity for youth to gathering in fellowship, worship Jesus, grow in their faith, and use their God-given gifts for service.

Prayer Triads

Each participant has been assigned two to three other Indiana District participants who will serve as prayer partners before, during, and after the LCMS Youth Gathering! Participants are encouraged to pray for their prayer triad before, during, and after the Gathering

In addition to prayer, we are encouraging everyone to meet with your prayer triad during the Gathering, specifcally those attending the Indiana District event!

Then, after the Gathering, Check in on your prayer triad - celebrate joys and triumphs, and pray over struggles and hardships. Consider encouraging one another to attend district-supported events like Cluster events and any high school retreats and other opportunities at Lakeview Ministries and Camp Lutherhaven.

Groups are given a name that is a series of letters (A, B, C…..VVVV, WWWW, XXXX) and have been broken down into the following divisions: For those partcipating in the Indiana District event: Male Students, Female Students, Male Adults, Female Adults. Over 95% of student groups share the same graduation year. We have assigned Prayer Triads to those not attending the event but there are not specific age or gender groupings. NOTE: Your group name could be shared with the other four groups, but we intend only for participants to be in the prayer triad group that matches their gender and age.
